



DEBRA R. SHPIGLER
Debra R. Shpigler graduated with honors from the
University of Virginia in 1982, receiving a B.A. in
Economics and Government (double major). She earned
her J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania School
of Law in 1985.
Ms. Shpigler served as a trial attorney for the
U.S. Department of Justice in Cleveland, Ohio from
1985 to 1989, when she became a corporate attorney
with the law firm of Ulmer & Berne. Eventually, Ms.
Shpigler handled all immigration work for the firm's
clients.
In 1993, she opened her own firm in order to concentrate on immigration and naturalization legal services for individuals and corporations. In 2005, she moved the practice to Atlanta.
She is the author of How To Become A U.S. Citizen.
Ms. Shpigler is a member of the Georgia Bar and a member the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
